This book is dedicated to those who have inherited the disease hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. The disease can cause heart muscles to thicken, obstructing blood flow. According to the CDC, this disease affects 1 in 500 individuals. In this story, I tried to convey the disease's thickened heart muscles with Arty's oversized heart.
